<aside> 🏫 EA Japan 学生フォーラムは効果的利他主義（Effective Altruism）に関心のある学生のためのカンフェレンスです。 This Student Weekend is a conference for students interested in Effective Altruism.

本イベントの企画運営は、アネケ・ポガレル（Center for Effective Altruism/オックスフォード）、アミーマ・タラット（東京大学）、永井正之（理化学研究所、EAジャパン）の3人によって行われます。 The Summit is organized by Anneke Pogarell (Centre for Effective Altruism/Oxford), Ameema Talat (University of Tokyo), and Masayuki “Moon” Nagai (RIKEN & Effective Altruism Japan).

<aside> ⏳ 応募締切は3月5日、登録フォームはこちらです。 Deadline for applying: 5th March, fill out our registration form to apply here. We have limited capacity for the weekend, so we will have to choose who we will accept based on who we think would get the most out of it. Please apply even if you are in doubt!

イベントの目的　What are the goals of the event?

<aside> 🎯 このフォーラムの目的は、この世界の最も切迫した諸問題と、それらを解決するための様々なアプローチについて議論することです。楽しみながら、同じ関心を持つ仲間と出会いましょう！ The aim of the weekend is to discuss the world’s most pressing problems and approaches to solving them. All while having fun and meeting like-minded people!

<aside> 💴 本イベントは（食事や飲み物代も含めて）全員無料で参加いただけます。 The event (including food and drinks) is free of charge to all attendees.

It will be a mixture of talks from people involved with Effective Altruism (e.g., AI Safety, Global Health & Development, Animal Welfare), workshops, and fun activities.
• 何で無料なの？ このイベントは、Center for Effective Altruism という団体によって出資されています。Center of Effective Altruism は、重要課題を深く考え、より効果的によいことを行うために根拠と推論を用いることができる人々のコミュニティを構築することを目的としています。 Why is this free? The event is funded by the Center for Effective Altruism, which aims to build a community of people who are equipped to think deeply about issues and employ evidence and reasoning in the pursuit of doing good more effectively.
